Sculpture "¿Agarrar o Sostenter?"

The team from the Querétaro Art Museum sent me this column from an abandoned textile factory and told me I could intervene it however I wanted, with a free theme. I wanted to honor the column in some way, and since it was about to be transformed into something different, I decided to ‘transform’ myself too and do something outside of what I was used to. Instead of painting, I chose to create a sculpture —and this piece became, in fact, the first work I ever made in that medium.
